Become Legendary – Become Who You Know You Are

by Jimi Jones

Blogging with a purpose?

Blogging to become a successful online business executive?

We all have goals and if yours is to fully embrace the craft of blogging and become highly successful you will need to continue your education toward that end.

Yes, you can eventually find your way to success on your own, but I’d recommend becoming a part of a group or program that will accelerate your learning curve and move you toward your goals sooner rather than later.

Think about what professionals do in all walks of life. They all educate themselves and become who they knew they were all along. They learn everything there is to know about their chosen field.

Blogging, like many professions, requires a broad and deep knowledge and you may be many months or years trying to fit it all together.

If you envision yourself as a professional blogger, internet marketer, business operator, whatever the title, don’t be afraid to be you.

In the blogging world you hear the term “content is King” quite frequently. Well I disagree with that because when you think about this deeper, you will realize that “knowledge is King”. When you have gained the full knowledge of your profession, everything else will take care of itself.

I am not promoting or recommending any programs or courses here in this post because that is not the purpose. If you need a recommendation, hit me on the Contact Form and I will happily provide one.

But my point is this; don’t be afraid to be you by educating yourself so that you can be your absolute best. Become who you really are and don’t settle for anything less.

Become legendary!

Keep Blogging!

  • Not only knowledge but also the art of promoting / presenting it.
It's my personal challenge to learn as much as possible, than add my own thoughts to it and use that acquired wisdom to deliver an incredible blog x-perience for my readers.
NOt style of substance, but the equal value of both.

  • Sounds like a great formula for success, Mars.
One can never learn too much and you're right, the manner in which you share or deliver that to your readers makes a huge difference. We have to know how to connect and engage to garner any support as a blogger.

  • Jimi, knowledge is indeed king. The best investment I've ever made has been in getting more knowledge.

The video is great too. become legendary! Ilike it.

I'm a big believer in watching and studying from the best in the game.
  • Hey John, how are you?
Glad you enjoyed the post, man.
Learning from those who have walked the walk is the ticket.

  • The beauty about my content area is that it is constantly evolving with new changes every week that makes it essential to keep up with. This keeps my mind agile as life is a daily education.

Re joining courses to further your blogging, newcomers must be really confused as everywhere you turn there are courses being offered at such a broad spectrum of prices. How people are to know which ones work, which are value for money etc must be nigh impossible.

  • There sure is something to be learned on the daily, Kevin.
I love the challenge and look forward to it.
True, lots to choose from in terms of courses and all. Just have to make a decision after some due diligence and jump in.

Everything is on overload these days. :-)

I have to agree. To be a real success all the writers on success say you have to work harder on your own development than your business. In fact Bob Proctor says you can only be as successful to the extent to which you develop.

The biggest example is lottery winners. They come into millions overnight yet within 5 years 95% are back at the income level they were at before they won.

Content is king and you can only provide good content if you improve your knowledge as you say.

  • Hello Andrew.
I agree wholeheartedly. We can never stop developing or improving ourselves.

That lottery story has repeated itself many times over. I would love a shot at that 5% that manage those winnings wisely, but reality tells me to keep plugging away. ;-)

Thanks for coming by, man. It's good to meet you.

  • I'm with ya too Jimi. Got a post coming out Monday..wanted to wait till then, seems like more teeraffic on muundays.. :) anyway it's my long term blog goals and it's taken me sometime to draft because of the seriousness of how I take these. But Blog with a purpose is #1. Gotta have a purpose.
Thanks, it's like this solidified my draft!
I wonder though can you really gain full knowledge of your profession... only if it's not continually changing and in the business world isn't it always changing.. Gotta stay ahead of the pack, then again if you know this your knowledgeable I guess. hmm got me to thinking you did......

  • Hey Lee!
    How goes, guy?
Looking forward to that post Monday. :-)
Without goals we're just wandering around without purpose, so it's good to keep them in focus.

I believe one can gain full knowledge of what's available at a given time, but that is always short-lived because, as you've pointed out, things are always changing. Change is good though, keeps us challenged and sharp.
.-= Jimi Jones´s last blog ..Become Legendary – Become Who You Know You Are =-.
  • This is a great post. There is always more we can learn and the more we know the more we can share. Isn't that the purpose of a blog, really? To share what we know with others?
