After many months of blogging over on The Online Business Blog, I have decided to spread my wings a bit and launch this site. Jimi Jones Dot Com will be all about the business of helping other bloggers and entrepreneurs launch new careers and develop future opportunities as more and more people turn to the internet.

As an Internet Entrepreneur the best opportunity for success is the sharing of knowledge. This is accomplished by solving problems that internet users have on specific topics. Most users of the internet are looking for answers to problems or they are in search of viable business opportunities to work from home and generate a sustainable income.

Let’s face it, the global corporate structure has gone the way of the 3-cent postage stamp and people need to look out for themselves and create financial security. These can be had by working on the internet, but unlike many purveyors of false impressions, it will not be easy or overnight. Like any business, it will require a strong commitment and dedication to make it grow into what one envisions. Entrepreneurs and bloggers will need a plan to get from A to B and beyond.

One of the largest hurdles on the internet is information overload. Determine what your business model or niche will be and stay focused on that and that alone. Your plan will require a series of steps that will move you closer to your overall goals.

So what is the plan for this site?

Assist new bloggers with building an online business.

For monetization, I will develop and produce my own information products in conjunction with additional affiliate products that are of substantial value to the readers. Everything associated with this site and the Jimi Jones Dot Com brand must  be of high quality and high value.

During the coming months, this site will be transformed into the main hub for Jimi Jones Dot Com, where I will share the knowledge I have acquired over the years . There is much work ahead, but I look forward to the task.

Target Launch Date: Mid-January 2010.

This date allows me to clear my schedule of other business and personal commitments and positions me to lead this endeavor on a full-time, uninterrupted basis.

The ultimate goal is to not just blog and blog alone, but to expand this business into other opportunities necessitated by the future expansion of social media and general internet usage.
