The design layout phase has begun and this blog will be transformed into a new and different look.
There was a technical issue with my host which prevented the theme I had chosen to not render properly, an issue that remains unresolved at the time of this post. Rather than lose additional time with this blog’s progress, I have decided to move on.
I am using a WP Unlimited theme that I had in stock. It is a really good theme that I have used in the past on another blog of mine, in addition to installing this on several other setups for clients.
It should be noted that I have a developer’s license for this theme, and I did not want to leave the impression that I was reusing the same theme on multiple sites. As many of you know, when you purchase a premium theme you often have two options.
1, make a single license purchase which allows you to use the theme on one site and one site only or 2, purchase a developers license and download as many versions as you need, including any and all updated versions.
In any case, I find this theme to be quite flexible as it too has the “hooks” feature that Thesis and Headway utilize (although headway’s is called “leafs”). I will likely install Thesis when the upgrade version releases.
By the time this site launches in January 2010, this vanilla plain look of today will be long gone.
