Modern Day Marketing – Become a Remarkable Brand

To be successful as a marketer one must move away from the techniques used in the past, it’s a new day now.

For many, the days of banner ads and Adsense have passed away if you want a real enterprise, and so have many of the old marketing strategies that once brought so much success in times past.

To become successful in today’s digital world you must find a way to stand out in a very positive way. Being just another also-ran is just not going to get your brand where it needs to be. You have to cut back against the grain. You’ll have to become remarkable and creatively attractive.

Building a great personal brand that people can relate to is important as hell if you want to do business in the circles where business is happening. Want success? Get some successful people in your life and flow with the tide.

For some reason it takes some of us longer to figure it out. The term like-minded individuals translates into motivation because when you roll with folks like that, things start to rub off among the crowd. You catch a drift of the energy that’s flowing and apply that to your dreams. Results may vary, depending upon your dreams. :-)

But on the real, if you want to have success, you need to be around success.

It’s the modern day marketing model. An example of how the times have changed with technology. Stay nimble, stay quick. Recognize the environment.

It was once good enough to have a static website with some fancy images and sales copy, but that’s old school now. Those types of oh-by-the-way sales pitches are playing out. People want something different.

Become a Remarkable Brand

We’re heading toward Web 3.0 and even the internet marketing strategies of just a few years ago are evolving into something that you need to grasp and get on the front side of. Like the evolution of life itself, businesses that fail to evolve will simply perish.

If your brand is just like all the others in your niche, what makes you think that potential clients will select yours over the rest?

What makes you different?

If the answer is nothing, you’re leaving your business opportunities to chance. There must be something in place to provide a competitive edge, something that makes people look in your direction. You must be different from the others offering the same products or services.

How can you gain some separation?

Easy, be yourself and blog your passion. Share your unique personality and the knowledge you have gained about your most passionate topic. Become a leader by adding value to the lives of others through your content. The greater the value you add, the more you stand out from the crowd.

If you blog what you love, others who share that same passion will become a part of your network of friends, so why not build your community from there?

Build a Network and You Build a Community

Expand your reach through the use of social media sites, sharing what you know and the things you discover that relate to your topic. When you do this continually, your network of followers will constantly grow.

This network of friends and followers will provide opportunities for even more business growth, collaborations and joint venture projects, making the experience a winning one for everyone involved.

This is the modern day marketing model, building a network with the use of social media tools and sites while sharing valuable knowledge among the community.

Many fail to see this larger picture, viewing others in their niche as competition instead of seeing the opportunity to build relationships and share value on a larger scale.

Reach out to others and share what you have to offer. You may just discover some new business horizons and valuable relationships beyond what you could ever imagine.

Don’t sit back like the others, get out there and make some stuff happen.

Be bold and become a remarkable brand.

    I think many people are actually throwing away good opportunities by doing things the old fashioned way and by not connecting with others and finding the right people to really grow with.

    There's a lot of potential out there if people just go after it.

    Hey Jimi,

    this is like the oxygen I breathe – remembering your unique edge and networking
    with like-minded crusaders. For me it helps being over the top, which I can show in my videos – the more you sharpen your inner edges the more you will stand out – it's just a byproduct if you don't comprise with your core values and fully embrace your whole spirit.

    Old school marketing methods are a waste of time. Instead of trying to corner the market, join forces with others and share the journey so everyone benefits. You can't blog on an island by yourself. Get out there and network, it could not be easier with the tools of today.
